Brew It No-Low Kit contains, in order of use:
No-Low Zyme: an innovative enzymatic solution for producing low or non-alcoholic beverages. This enzyme converts fermentable maltose into non-fermentable isomalto-oligosaccharides (IMOs), thereby reducing the real degree of fermentation (RDF). IMOs are not fermented by yeast, so they don’t contribute to alcohol production, but they improve the body and mouthfeel of the beer, offering a richer flavour profile.
OPTIONAL ADDITION:
Mashlife: an innovative 100% natural product based on powdered pomegranate extract, used during mashing and boiling. The polyphenols in the extract act as chelators, forming large complexes with iron and copper, facilitating their removal during lautering. With good oxygen control, Mashlife prevents the formation of oxidation-related off-flavours.
AS AN ALTERNATIVE:
Brewty: 100% natural tannic acid formulated to enhance flavour stability and optimize colloidal stability. It can be added during both mashing and boiling. During mashing, it binds mainly to metal ions such as iron, removing them and preventing oxidative reactions. Brewty also binds haze-forming proteins, making them precipitate and improving lautering efficiency.
During boiling, it primarily binds with haze-related proteins, improving beer clarity and stability.
Protafloc: A natural algae-based product that significantly reduces haze during the boil without affecting foam retention. It results in a clearer wort, more effective fermentation, and a significant reduction in other clarifier dosages in later steps.
Super F: A silica-based fining agent developed specifically for rapid yeast sedimentation, which also acts on proteins and other particles. To be used at the end of fermentation.
HyperBoost™: A fluid, hop oil-rich extract obtained using supercritical CO2 extraction and an innovative process. Designed to boost hop aroma and efficiency, it can be used in both whirlpool and dry hopping. Contains 15–40% alpha acids, 6–15% beta acids, and over 40% total oils.
Self-Beer® for detecting main microbial contaminants, and Self-Brett® for detecting Brettanomyces, allow autonomous process monitoring and help prevent contaminant proliferation.
