We are happy to announce that Mr. Malt® has entered into a collaboration agreement with Simpsons Malt, the renowned English maltster, known and appreciated by many of you. As you know, your satisfaction is our mission, so we are constantly committed to seeking and nurturing relationships with the best producers of raw materials and everything you need in the brewery.

Founded in 1862, Simpsons Malt is a historic family-owned company now in its fifth generation, which became a certified Benefit Corporation in November 2021. As a producer of high-quality malts, it operates from two strategically located facilities in prime barley-growing areas within the United Kingdom. It also has its own division dedicated to agricultural trade, through which it cultivates close relationships with farmers and ensures supervision of the supply chain from seed to malt delivery to the customer, whether a brewer or a distiller.

Thanks to this structure, Simpsons offers a wide range of quality malts designed to achieve excellent and consistent results in the brewery. Soon, you will find over twenty varieties of base malts, caramelized malts, roasted malts, toasted malts, not forgetting products based on other cereals and malts for distillation, on mr-malt.it. Base Malts

If you are looking for a balanced and high-performance malt for a hoppy recipe, the answer is FINEST PALE ALE GOLDEN PROMISE®™, a historic variety that ensures body even in the boldest sessions. For the most traditionalists, here is the FINEST PALE ALE MARIS OTTER, considered the "Rolls Royce" of malts, with high efficiency that translates into rich taste and minimal cloudiness. In the BEST PALE ALE MALT, we find the classic English base malt, suitable for balancing the most hopped recipes as well as giving a robust malty note to British and Belgian styles. Finally, for those looking for a light but well-modified malt, here is the EXTRA PALE ALE MALT suitable for both Lagers and Ales.

Caramel Malts

At the top of the range is the PREMIUM ENGLISH CARAMALT, ideal for enriching color while remaining delicate in flavor, but also for balancing hoppy and citrusy bitterness. A name, a guarantee: the CRYSTAL T50™ ensures a color of 50 Lovibond (130 EBC) in every batch. Thanks to its unique production process, the SIMPSONS DRC® is perfect for dark beers where you don't want the astringency and bitterness of roasted malts. From the traditional Maris Otter, Simpsons has created the HERITAGE CRYSTAL MALT to bring depth of flavor and color to Ale and Bitter. A typical Simpsons creation is the GOLDEN NAKED OATS®™, a crystal oat malt with a subtle hazelnut aroma that will encourage you to experiment with new recipes.

Distilling Malts

Last but not least, with Simpsons Malt, we introduce specific malts for distillation: from POT STILL for whisky production, to HI DP, characterized by high diastatic power (140 IOB), and PEATED for smoky flavors.
