The ultimate protocol to reduce the negative effects of oxidation on beer: NOxidation Kit addresses the issue at its root thanks to the chelating action of Mashlife, which is more effective than its competitors. You can choose between Mashlife and Brewty (with a lower chelating power than Mashlife, but with clarifying properties). F2, added in minimal doses, has shown antioxidant effects due to its ability to consume dissolved oxygen. Also used in already carbonated beers, it contributes to a more stable shelf life.

The kit contains, in order of use:
Mashlife: an innovative 100% natural product based on powdered pomegranate extract, to be used during mashing and boiling. The polyphenols in the extract act as chelators, forming large complexes with iron and copper, making them easier to remove during lautering. With proper oxygen control in the process, Mashlife prevents the formation of oxidation-related off-flavours.
OPTIONAL ADDITION:
Brewty: a 100% natural tannic acid formulated to enhance flavour stability and optimize the colloidal stability of beers. It can be added during both mashing and boiling. During mashing, it primarily binds to metal ions such as iron, removing them and preventing oxidative reactions. Brewty also binds to haze-forming proteins, causing them to precipitate and improving lautering efficiency.
In the boil, its main function is binding haze-related proteins, improving beer clarity and stability.
SafAle™ Fermentis F2: included in the NOxidation Kit with a recommended dosage of 0.25–1 million cells/ml (not as a refermentation yeast). In this way, F2 uses the residual oxygen after packaging without affecting alcohol or carbonation levels, resulting in excellent organoleptic stability, even of hop-derived aromas.
Antioxin SB: after use, it is recommended to monitor SO2 levels in the beer.
